Baking has been my favorite kind of focus for as long as I can remember — the quiet of an early morning, a fresh batch of dough, a sketch in front of me, and hours ahead to make something beautiful. Decorating is where I lose track of time. The piping, the painting, the tiny color decisions that turn a flat cookie into a little piece of someone's celebration — that's the part I love most.
Every order starts with a sketch. I work one-on-one with each client — we talk theme, colors, the inspiration photos you've been collecting, the small detail that ties everything together. Then I make it by hand, one cookie at a time. No shortcuts, no two sets alike.
CC's started small — cookies for friends, then friends of friends, then strangers from across town. Somewhere along the way the orders stopped being a side thing and became the work I'd been waiting to do.
The "CC" is for Colt Christopher — my son, and my dad. Two of my favorite people, quietly on every box that leaves the kitchen.
